"SHOE CONFIDENCE":
   
   A horse that is shod properly moves confidently.  If a trim is too short, too long, or the shoe isn't fitted correctly, the horse will lose confidence in it's own feet.  The lack of confidence turns into lack of performance and can cause accidents and health problems.  When the trim is right and the shoe is fitted properly, the confidence the horse projects is also projected to the owner.
   "Shoe Confidence" is not only the horse's confidence in it's own feet, but the owner's confidence in the performance of the farrier.
